The modern tri-level school building nestles below the historic old school. The air-conditioned building features an internal fernery, spacious library, multi-purpose hall, art room and outstanding computer centre. Internal ramps provide disabled access to all areas including toilets.

The large classrooms are directly linked to external courtyards and adjoining withdrawal areas, which allow flexibility for intervention and extension learning programs.

Gardens and extensive, well-shaded playing areas are attractively landscaped and complement passive and active outdoor education activities.

The Heritage Building on the corner of Grimshaw Street and The Circuit is used to accommodate Music, LOTE lessons and other activities.

The School Canteen operates on specified days for hot and cold lunches and snacks. The menu changes regularly and a variety of nutritious items are offered for sale. Parent Helpers support the Canteen Manager in providing an efficient and popular service.

The Outside School Hours Care program provides a popular service for our families both before and after school. The program provides a quality primary school aged childcare service which is community based, flexible and meets the needs for care in a creative, stimulating, safe and secure environment for both before and after school care. The OHSC program is involved in the federally funded “Active After-School Communities” program. This specific program is designed to address inactivity in school students and endeavours to offer a variety of sporting alternatives and activities.

The large Multi Purpose Hall is available for evening and weekend hire to community groups and individuals. A number of organisations have permanent bookings on weeknights which make it available for weekend hire. The Hall is ideal for parties and special occasions as it is fully self-contained and has a fully operational kitchen with access through to the hall. The floor of the hall is polished timber and there are trestle tables and chairs available for seventy people. All facilities and seating are included in the booking fee.
