Facilities

Our modern tri-level school building is air-conditioned and heated, featuring an internal fernery, spacious library, art room, multi-purpose hall, canteen and spacious classrooms. Internal ramps provide disabled access to all areas, including toilets.

The original school building, which has a heritage listing, provides the venue for music/Japanese classes,  Musical Performance Group practise and the Prep Perceptual Movement Program.

All classrooms have several desktop computers plus access to netbooks, notebooks, iPads and an interactive whiteboard for student learning. Our Prep classroom is double-sized to allow for a “learning through play” space, which helps our Preps transition to school. Each classroom also has an adjoining outdoor learning area and an indoor wet area, which allows flexibility for extension learning programs.

The centrally located school library is bright and spacious, and has an excellent range of books and resources maintained by our Library Teacher. New book titles are continually added to the school book collection.

Students have weekly Visual Art lessons in the art room by our Art Teacher, using a broad range of mediums and materials.

The multi-purpose hall is used for indoor sporting activities, weekly school assembly during inclement weather and other special events. It is also available for evening and weekend hire to community groups and individuals.

The school canteen operates on Mondays and Fridays for student lunch orders. The excellent kitchen facilities are also used during our Clubs program and for “Special Lunch” days.

The Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program provides a popular service for our families both before and after school. The program provides a quality primary school aged childcare service which is community based, flexible and meets the needs for care in a creative, stimulating, safe and secure environment.
